19th Century full bodied copper running horse by J. Harris & Sons, excellent body colors and tone, horse is mounted on a brass rod and most of the gilding is intact. No damage to mane or tail. Hooves are in outstanding condition, 20.5"h from base, 30"l. Stand included. Provenance: This particular weathervane was made by J. Harris & Son of Boston, MA, a notable weathervane manufacturer whose work can be found in public and private corporations and museums, from the Estate of Robert Oliver. Outstanding condition.
