Set of Chinese 'imperial' seals in a carved box, 20th century, consisting of a massive spinach jade two-section seal with a finial of confronted dragons and opening to one large and four smaller fitted circular seals of greyish-green jade with tops decorated with dragons in low-relief, all carved with imperial legends, the exterior with a long inscription in clerical script, the zitan-stained hardwood box carved to the top with archaistic scrollwork within a leiwen border band, with metal fittings (age crack), large seal: 5.5''h x 5.25''w x 4''; box: 8.5''h
