Measures 25" by 33" plus frame, good condition. Signed Canal on lower left. Gilbert von Canal 1849-1927 Austrian. Von Canal studied at the Academie of Vienna from 1878-1895 and was active in Dusseldorf, Holland, Westphalia, England and Sweden. He was awarded Gold Medals in Munich, Berlin, and Dusseldorf.
