Important American Needlework Sampler. Made by Hannah Harforth and Dated 1808. Featured in an "American Samplers" by Ethel Stanwood Bolton and Eva Johnston Coe, Published 1973 by Pyne Press. Mentioned on pages 169, 307 and 323. Label on back indicates that this piece was in an exhibit produced by the SPNEA (Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities) in 1918 on loan.
