1780 Massachusetts Bay Treasury Loan Certificate, £30, Anderson MA-16, Very Fine.
5.75" x 9.25". Popular Pine tree motif engraved by Nathaniel Hurd at the upper left. Sharply printed, but some corrosion affects the Gardner signature at the right due to the acidic ink used to cancel the certificate. The paper quality is superior and this is an acceptable specimen for the collector.
