Specimen "Letters of Credit" from the Canadian Bank Note Company Archives, Lot of Four, all Gem CU.
This is an original lot of Four Specimen "Letters of Credit" from the archives of the Canadian Bank Note Company. All are custom mounted on black construction paper, in album pages, which are used to display the company's wares to potential customers. Each has a serial number composed of all zeroes, some with an alpha prefix. Two are from the Bank of Montreal and two are from the Toronto-Dominion Bank. Each is hole-cancelled and stamped "Specimen." These unusual items are either unique or extremely rare!
