JOHN QUINCY ADAMS, 6th President of the United States.
December 1, 1826, Partially Printed Document Signed, "J. Q. Adams," 1 page, about 10" x 16," Fine. This is an original, United States Government Land Grant, signed by John Q. Adams as President, transferring a piece of land in Tuskaloosa County, Alabama. Partially printed on vellum paper, this document is intact and in fairly nice condition, aside from some tone spots mostly toward the left and right ends, and trimmed upper corners and lower right corner. Presently framed, under glass (frame size 12" x 17.5"), and not examined outside the frame. Though slightly faded in spots, the writing is completely readable.
