1939 Hermann Goering Trophy Plate

Autographs
Huge Silver Trophy Presentation Personally Awarded by Hermann Goering

(HERMANN GORING), WW II German Third Reich Air Marshal.
1939, Original Hand-Engraved Large Silver Trophy Plaque, Awarded for Men's Doubles Play in Tennis, by Hermann Goring, 14.75" in diameter, Housed in its Original Presentation Box, Choice Extremely Fine. This 1939 Trophy Plate in silver was awarded for Men's Doubles Play in Tennis, 14.75" in diameter, minimal, light friction and abrasions. Housed in the original, red Presentation Box, that was handmade by Werkstatt H. Zeitner of Berlin, with their imprint on the satin-lined cover. The box is lightly worn on its outside, with some chips at the exterior corners and has a separated hinge, retaining a nice overall appearance. The Silver Award Plate itself features a Classic German Eagle holding a thick "Swastika" in its talons. Beneath are the words: "Hermann Goring - Generalfeldmarschall - Herausforderungspreis - Im Herren-Doppel-Spiel - 1939." "Herausforderung" translates to "Challenger" Prize, and it's quite a huge round Silver Award plaque. A Unique and impressive original artifact directly from the Third Reich Air Marshal Hermann Goering.
