[Birds]. 9 color lithographs of birds finished by hand, from Josef Wolf's ''Zoological Sketches Made For The Zoological Society of London,'' Lon: Henry Graves, 1861-67. Each 13 7/8 x 9 3/8 in. mounted on stiff board with gilt caption. Includes: Magellanic Goose, Horsfield's Kaleege, Great Bustard, Caspian Snow-Partridge, Black-Necked Swan, American Rhea, The Kagu, Viellot's Firebacked Pheasant, and White-Headed Shieldrake. Upper and lower margins of each mount trimmed (4 close to caption), each lithograph very good.
