Pleasant 1/6 plate daguerreotype portrait in a stippled oval mat, partially sealed on 3 sides. The red case has a lyre/floral design, with a blue label for R. Jennings, "Manufacturer of Daguerreotype Miniature and Jewel Cases Of every description… " This is case 4 – 100 in Berg's catalog, but is in red! Cover is separated. Plate has diagonal wipes. [D3]
