Woman holds her flowered Bonnet, by Hughes

A woman in a spotted dress, cameo at collar, careful hair, holds her flowered bonnet. This offers an unusual view of the interior of the bonnet with tinted flowers inside. It's nice to see her hand inside the bonnet, holding it. 1/6 plate daguerreotype in a double elliptical mat stamped "Hughes." (There are several known with this name.) In a nice full case with floral design. [3+]
