Daguerreotype, Woman, cameo on ribbon 1/4 plate

The cameo is on the crossing of her ribbon. Her hair has a double part, making a "V" at the center. Her hair has been formed into a circle in front of her ear. She turns her head to show it off. There are some mat abrasions and a rough area with green at the top. Still this is a fine portrait with nice coloration of the dress and face. ¼ plate in oval mat with mesh pattern, in nice rare flower vase case with original spine. [D3]
