¼ plate daguerreotype in a board mat with a ruled gilded pattern around
the octagonal opening. It is sealed with blue paper tape across the back, in a frame. He holds a large volume with other books lined up behind the crucifix. He has a somewhat weathered face, suggesting he might be a country priest. Slight light spotting. [3-]
