INDIAN NANNY WITH TWO CHILDREN. She wears earrings and has two shawls, the outer one the same pattern as her wide skirt. She might be Central or South American. The younger girl on her lap at left has a wonderful brown dress. The other clothing has pink and reddish coloring. This is a "relievo" ambrotype, with the backing applied only behind the figures.
