SOLDIER WITH MUSTACHE, GILDED BUTTONS. Small round 1/16 plate [not a 1/9 plate as mistakenly given in the catalog!] tintype in an oreo case (Berg 5 –11) with a label for "J. Lewis Baldwin, improved Molds, Patented Feb. 11, 1862." The case has a fine cover; the back has one protruding bump broken, a small bruise on the face. [3]
