Carved from mottled grey alabaster with a whimsical owl with glass eyes perched on top of a book, the hinged form opening to reveal an inkwell with original glass liner, all raised above a triangular base carved with a pen holder, unsigned. 11.25"H. Condition: otherwise very good.
