oil on canvas, signed "Quistgaard" and stamped with a seal in the lower right corner, depicting a western North Carolina landscape with rhododendrons in riotous bloom and Grandfather Mountain in the background, housed in the original gilt composition frame.

Provenance: Ruth Cannon (acquired directly from the artist - an inscribed photograph of the painting, penned by Quistgaard and addressed to Mrs. Cannon, accompanies this lot).
