Partly-printed D.S. "John Hancock" as Governor, 1p. folio, Boston, July 2, 1792, an appointment of Adolphus Spring to serve as Ensign in a regiment of the state's militia. Edge wear with a fold and partial split through signature, repaired on verso, signature is bold, with paper seal, overall very good. $2,000-3,000
