61. OTHO F. STRAHL (1831-1864) Confederate brigadier general, led a brigade in the Army of Tennessee, killed in action at Franklin. Excessively rare war-date D.S. filled-out and signed three times by Strahl, 1p. legal folio, Nov. 1, 1861, a CSA Officers' Pay Account in which Strahl draws his pay of $425.00 for the period, also describing his slave William Roy, at bottom. Fine condition. $5,000-7,000
