150. WELL ARMED UNION CORPORAL War-date 1/6th plate tintype of a well-armed Union corporal from the 153rd regiment, company H, of an unknown state. He stands before a forest scene backdrop, holds a bayoneted rifle while wearing a belt, cap box, and bayonet scabbard. The photographer has gilded gold the regimental insignia, the coat buttons, and the US on his buckle. He is most likely a Pennsylvania or New York soldier, from an old time Maryland collection. Housed in a full leatherette case with a stamped brass mat, frame, and protective glass. Worthy of further research. Very good.$500-700
