556. JOHNNY THUNDERS (1951 - 1990) Pioneering American punk rock guitarist, founding member of the New York Dolls (1971), also founded the Heartbreakers. Important and rare D.S. "Johnny Genzale" 8pp. legal folio, New York, Apr. 15, 1968 being his first publishing contract with SIDNEY PROSEN for his Queens, NY based garage band, The Reign. The contract is an exclusive publishing agreement in which the members of the band basically grant the publisher exclusive rights to all their existing material as well as any material they would write in the ensuing five years. Signed by all four members of the band as well as by their parents as they were all minors at the time. Also signed by Prosen. Usual folds, otherwise very good condition. $1,000-1,500
