MEYER LANSKY (1902 - 1983) Mafia "founding father" and accounting genius, close friend and associate of "Lucky" Luciano, Joe Adonis, "Bugsy" Siegel and Albert Anastasia, involved in nationwide rackets whose profits he laundered through legitimate businesses. Rare and somewhat ironic A.D.S. "Meyer Lansky", his personal check, New York, Feb. 15, 1936 in which Lansky purchases life insurance from The Equitable Life Assurance Society, paying a premium of $339.20. Fine condition. $400-600
