583. TY COBB (1886 - 1961) Baseball Hall of Famer, "The Georgia Peach" led the American League in batting 12 times, possibly the greatest hitter ever. His signature "Ty Cobb" on an 4to., sheet of notebook paper bearing a list of figures of war bond maturity dates (1941-1945) and the signatures of players WILLIE KAMM, Boxer TOMMY BURNS (signed twice), Golf Pro JOHNNY BATTINI, Cleveland Indians manager OSCAR VITT, and one other unidentified signature. Heavy creases, some weak, light to moderate soiling, otherwise very good condition. $300-400
