Lionel 463W Set, 1st Lionel Set after WWII

Lionel 463W set. Circa 1945-69. "O" Gauge. This is the 1st set that came out of Lionel after WWII. The set consists of 224 locomotive. Blackend handrails. Draw bar that hooks into tender floor. This locomotive is complete and all original. It does have some rust on blackend handrails. Locomotive is dirty, but should clean up nice. There is a chip out of one drive wheel and some metal fatigue on another drive wheel. Tender has flying shoe trucks with roller pick-ups. Has the hole cut in the floor for the 224 locomotive. The hole in tender floor is oval in shape which would be correct. There is some rust on wheels and axels, no rust on frame. This version is not the one with whirrly wheels. Tender shell needs a good cleaning, nothing cracked or broken. box is overstamped 2466W whistle tender box. There is a tear on one end flap about 2" long. Box does have its insert. Has all its flaps, but one end has old scotch tape repairs, some creases and minor stains. 2555 Sunoco tank car with flying shoe trucks, no whirrly wheels. Has thick axels. There is quite a bit of flaking on decals. Tank car frame is good and straight. Original box has all flaps and box insert. There is some minor scrapes and stains. One side of box has a puncture in it. 2452 PRR gondola with flying shoe trucks, OB. There is just a little corrosion on wheels, otherwise complete and all original. Also a little rust on brake wheels. Has some minor scratches. Comes with 4 original barrels. Box has insert, all flaps, the tip of one flap is missing, other flap has been repaired with scotch tape, has some stains and creases. 2458 PRR double door box car with flying shoe trucks, OB. This car is complete and all original. Has a little bit of rust on wheels. Nice graphics on both sides. Very attractive car. Clean frame, clean door guides. Doors are original. Original box, has no insert. box has all flaps, some stains and creases. 2457 caboose with flying shoe trucks, OB. Lighted. Has a little rust on axels. Good graphics, nice clean paint. Original box has all flaps, good square box, some minor creases and stains.
