18th Century Brass Candlestick with Chinese "Dragon" Designs
c. 1750 Ornate Brass Candlestick, Choice Very Fine.
This 16"-high, ornate candlestick is made of brass, with nice black patina and 5" x 5" circular base. The entirety of the stand, the neck, and the basin are engraved in an "Oriental" style, replete with four dragons in the classical Chinese mold. The black patina has been meticulously preserved; the candleholder stem is a little loose, but secure, and there is very little wear to the rest of the item.
