Manuscript Letter Signed, "Ga'd Stanley Lt. Col. Comd." to "Capt Rerzin Gridley", no location, requesting a meeting: "Sir These are to Desire you to give your attendence with your commission officers at one O'Clock after noon to consult on Military Matters you will not fail to attend & you will oblige your Humble Servant..." Crisp, brown-ink writing on fine-laid paper. Slight age toning at upper left corner and lower margin, only add character to this Revolutionary war document.
