1. "PUBLIC EXPRESSION OF GRIEF FOR THE DEATH OF GEORGE WASHINGTON AT DORCHESTER [MASS.]," by Moses Everett, approx. 8" x 4.75", 6 pages. Held on Washington's birthday, February 22, 1800.
2. "MR WHITNEY'S SERMON OCCASIONED BY THE DEATH OF GENERAL GEORGE WASHINGTON," by Peter Whitney, delivered at Northborough, MA, printed at Brookfield, MA, 28 pages, 8" x 4.75". Original owner's name, "John Whitney's Book" written at top of cover page. Both items lacking covers. Minor damp staining, partial separation to spine of Everett's sermon. Fantastic content! (2 Sermons).
