July 14, 1780 $100 Thin Rice Paper Note PCGS VF-20
Treasury of Virginia. July 14, 1780. One Hundred Dollars. Printed on Thin Rice Paper with Printed Reverse. PCGS graded Very Fine-20.
This note has the appearance of Choice Extremely Fine and was the upper right sheet note having Jumbo sheet margin selvage at the top and at right. The other two margins are both very large. Boldly signed in dark brown and well printed. Overall, an impressive rice paper note that seems too conservatively graded.
