Very rare and outstanding oak splint swing handle basket, double wrap rim, beautiful hand carved cotter key shape wooden ear, with great hand carved handle fastened to ears with hand carved wooden peg, raised ring bottom, ca. 1850-1870, origin-Seymour Landon Morehouse, Westford, VT, (very good, minor break on bottom rim), 9" h. x 10-3/4" diam.
