Jacob Eby, Manheim, (Lancaster Co., PA), Eagle Inlaid Hepplewhite Cherry Tall Case Clock, broken arch pediment with pinwheel inlaid rosettes, turned urn finials with line inlaid plinths, turned column supports with burlwood and checkered inlay at base of hood. Waist with spread wing American eagle and laurel branch and having 13 star inlay in the oval panel, burlwood and line inlays on chamfered corners and lip molded shaped pendulum door. Cove molding above and below waist, flat board base with French bracket feet, 8-day movement with brass works. Illuminated dial with painted rosette and scroll spandrels, moon phase with clipper ship and cottage scenes, Roman numeral dial with date hand, 98-1/2" h., (case refinished and minor restorations).
