ABT: Lionel pre-1917 O Gauge Set Box - one of the

Paul V. Ambrose and Drew J. Bauer present: Although Lionel first catalogued their O Gauge Sets in 1915, many advance collectors believe Lionel did not actually manufacture them until the 1917 season. This is one of the first Set Boxes for their O Gauge Sets. Since it is marked "Lionel Manufacturing Co." we know it is 1917 or prior production. Unfortunately the place where the rubber-stamped number would be stamped is worn, as such we have no idea which set box it could be. The measurements of the box are 13 3/4 x 13 3/4 x 3 inches. PLEASE REMEMBER YOU ARE ONLY BIDDING ON THE ORIGINAL SET BOX. This Set Box is in (7) Condition, some old tape. All Original in Our Opinion. Please add $15.00 for US-48 Shipping and Insurance.
