Mae West Ermine Coat

White ermine coat belonging to Mae West. Full length and lined in beige silk. The collar is made of five ermine loops that hook to the side of the neck to resemble a scarf. The coat was made with added length. West was only five feet tall, but wore very high heels to look taller. Together with a letter of authenticity from Beverly Hills attorney, Henry Weiss, who was a friend of West's. Sale History: Profiles In History, December 2000.
