Marlon Brando Overcoat from "The Godfather"

This is a brown wool single-breasted overcoat worn by Marlon Brando in "The Godfather" (Paramount, 1972). The coat has a three-button front closure, two flap pockets, and a label in the inner right breast that reads "Made Exclusively by Brooks for Godfather Overcoat Marlon Brando CH 44 Coat Length 20/32/43/63." Formerly in the collection of Arthur Gerold, owner of the Brooks Van Horn & Son Theatrical Costume Company, which made the costumes for this film. Sale History: Heritage, July 2006.
