Tom Hanks Costume From "Forrest Gump"

The formal attire worn by Hanks, in the title role, for the meeting with JFK. The costume comprises a blue double-breasted jacket, with brass buttons and "U.S. Table Tennis Association" embroidered patch over the left breast; on internal bias label is handwritten "T. Hanks;" a white dress shirt; red, white and blue tie; and a pair of khaki slacks with "T. Hanks" handwritten on internal bias label. Hanks won an Academy Award for Best Actor.
