Tom Hanks' helmet from "Saving Private Ryan" (Dreamworks/SKG , 1998). Signed by Hanks and Steven Spielberg on the front in black felt-tip ink. A WWII-style metal helmet. Worn by Hanks in the role of Captain John Miller. Spielberg won the Academy Award for Best Director and Hanks was nominated for Best Actor. Sale History: Christie's, November 2003
