Chalice from "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" (Paramount, 1989). A French gilt silver chalice with cover; makers mark AJ in a lozenge; the lobed domed base decorated with leaf and quatrefoil motifs, supporting the faceted stem with central knop, the circular bowl with applied leaf, scroll and quatrefoil motifs, with a conforming cover, the cover, knop and foot later mounted with green glass stones. Purchased and adapted for the film. Together with a TLS of provenance from Mark Farley on Farley Classical & Contemporary Art Hire Ltd. letterhead. 9.25" high, 6" base diameter.
