Laurence Olivier's sandals from "Spartacus" (Universal, 1960). Designed by Valles. High brown leather laced sandals with gold leather trim & laces. Handwritten "Olivier" on the inside of left sandal. Worn by Olivier in the role of Crassus, during the second half of the film. "Spartacus" won the Academy Award for Best Costume Design.
