A special-effects model of Christopher Reeve for "Superman" (Warner Bros., 1978). Resin model of Reeve in a flying pose with animatronic supports for the cape to mimic air turbulence. Painted in the characteristic Superman colors (blue bodysuit with red and white "S" logo), with hand detailed eyes and face. Used against a bluescreen for the aerial shots of Superman in flight. 26" long.
