"The Prince and the Pauper" Costume

Worn in "The Prince and the Pauper" (Warner Bros., 1937) by Alan Hale as Captain of the Guard, this green velvet tunic has red velvet insets on the sleeves and a front lace-up closure. Designed by Milo Anderson, it has an interior "Western Costume" label that reads "Hale Double 20342", double here meaning a duplicate identical costume.
