Brown leather sandals with long leather laces to be laced up around the shin. These sandals were probably worn by Charlton Heston in the role of Moses. He can be seen wearing identical sandals in many scenes, including in the Throne Room, when the Lord transforms his staff into a serpent. Although other Hebrew players wore them, too, these were the only pair saved by the studio after filming. The soles exhibit heavy production use, and the leather is worn.
