Hard-bound red leather address book which Jack Ruby was carrying when he fatally shot Lee Harvey Oswald. The book was seized by the Dallas Police Department as personal property when Ruby was searched after his arrest. With a trial exhibition sticker on the cover reading "Exhibit D-12". The inside pages contain a few entries in blue ink in Ruby's hand. A scrap of paper torn from the upper corner of a letter beginning "Dear M" is tucked in the back pages; writing is in ink in an unknown hand. Good condition, some smudging on cover. 5 1/2 x 4. Also included are photocopies of the FBI record on "Results of Searches of the Person, Automobile and Residence of Jack I. Ruby" reprinting the Dallas police records on what was seized from Ruby during the investigation. Includes a photocopy of a U.S. Government Memorandum concerning the assassination with copied address book pages found in Club Vegas and thought to belong to Ruby. Good condition.
