Traveling trunk used by Harry Houdini for storing props and other performance necessities. The steel-reinforced hinged trunk is secured with three heavy metal latches, one of which is locking (key missing). Painted on four vertical sides "glass" in gold lettering, and on the top "This side up," "Houdini," "M-2," "Theatre." There is also a custom's label on the seam, and manufacturers label from "William Bal Company".
