Keymaking die used by Harry Houdini. Solid square metal block with a key-shaped mold in center and a rectangular piece of flat metal protruding off the right side. The special die was used by Houdini to make flat keys to fit padlocks. Framed in a shadowbox. Formerly in the Houdini Historical Center. Together with a reproduction portrait and letter of provenance signed by Sidney Radner, honorary curator of the Houdini Historical Center.
