A derringer slide mechanism from "The Wild Wild West" (CBS-TV, 1965-69). An ingenious triggered slide mechanism with leather straps for attachment to the forearm, and bungee cord spring with metal trigger. Used by Robert Conrad in the role of James T. West. This item was also used many years later for a "Twin Peaks" (ABC-TV, 1990-91) episode, when a dagger was attached to the quick-draw mechanism. 13 1/2" Sale History: Profiles In History, October 2004
