Frank Sinatra purchased this stunningly handsome Corniche Convertible new in 1985. He kept the car for approximately a decade before handing it in to the dealership from where it had been originally acquired. The Rolls Royce was then sold to a customer who never took possession. A month later, a second transaction took place resulting in the car being acquired by its current Nevada owner, effectively making this a two-owner car. Remarkably, the automobile has covered fewer than 19,000 miles since new and remains in pristine condition. The convertible top was replaced in 2006. As one might imagine, Mr. Sinatra ordered every conceivable option which, of course, remain with the automobile. The current Nevada license plate reads "BLU 1ZZ." It should be noted that the Corniche Convertible was very much the finest vehicle Rolls Royce produced at the time. Hand built and known properly as the Corniche I, a total of only 1,306 convertibles and Corniche coupes (combined) were built between the years 1971 and 1986. This is a rare opportunity to own an extremely collectible vehicle that virtually all automotive aficionados agree is the finest car in the world; in this case, made all the more important by virtue of the fact that its original owner was the incomparable Frank Sinatra.
