These are general guidelines and history that all upcoming scripts must follow. Also includes a guide for "Star Trek Format" and "Script Format " has definitions for "The USS Enterprise", with an extensive bio and character profile for "Captain James Kirk", In part: "..Although Kirk often solicits information and estimates from Spock, never does the first officer act as Kirk's brain... Abroad the ship Capt. Kirk has only a few opportunities for anything approaching friendship, one exception being Spock, a strange friendship based upon logic ..".
