Lee writes "Dear Pearl, I felt so sad ... You'll probably still be running when we come back in April. I wish we could get together. Thank you for thinking of me opening night."Signed "Peggy." Taped to the bottom of the letter is a telegram to Peggy Lee informing her that her telegram to "Miss Pearl Bailey New York Hilton Hotel" was undeliverable. In very good condition.
