Friederich Krupp was the most powerful weapons manufacturer in Germany and largely responsible for carrying out Hitler's massive military mobilization starting in the early 1930's, and through WW II . This currency was issued by Krupp in 1923, at the peak of German Inflation as National German currency was becoming ever more worthless, which is the reason for its amazingly high denomination of 10 Million Marks.Exquisitely engraved on watermarked paper using steel plates, this incredible bank note is lavender. The serial number is blue.It is imprinted "Fried. Krupp Aktiengesellschaft, Essen" (Fried. Krupp Corporation, Essen), dated August 14, 1923, and signed by the Company's Directors.
