Theodore Fahrner, German Art Nouveau 1915 Enamel Sterling Necklace
Art Nouveau - Art Deco circa 1915 enameled sterling necklace with a hand hammered round pendant decorated with enameled flowers. Fine enameled necklace was made by Theodore Fahrner and is very similar to handmade Vienna Secessionist jewelry made by talented artists at the Wiener Werkstatte in early 1900s Austria. There are small enamel chips on one of the flowers and miniscule chips on the heart shaped leaves, but the necklace itself is in good condition. The pendant is marked .935 depose with a double stamped "TF" in a circle. The pendant measures 1 ¾" diameter, chain measures approximately 16" long. Weighs 20 grams.
