Antique Folk Art Stained & Carved Maple Cane,
likely German or Swiss, horn handle, shaft with upper register depicting an Alpine hunter pointing his dog towards a stag, a finely detailed snake is entwined around the lower shaft, one of the serpent's two glass bead eyes remain. Carved with Teutonic attention to detail, excellent old surfaces on both horn and wooden elements. 36.5" Condition reportSmall age cracks at tip.
